Back to Basics

Isn’t life weird – I’ve pondered over the subject of my first blog entry, thinking it would come from my work life of motivation and executive coaching.  And I’ve amazed myself that it has come from my weekend life of badminton coaching!

Yes, the season is under way again, and the eager Under 15 and Under 17 Dorset Juniors waited to hear what was on the agenda for their first Sunday training session, and the plan for the year.  Answer 1, “the bleep test” – a measure of their physical fitness – brought plenty of groans.  Answer 2, “back to basics” strangely didn’t.
